  Clean, good location, nice room - overall a great stay. Westfield and Sydney Olympic Park close by

  Les plus: Right next to Westfield and in close proximity to Sydney Olympic Park. I highly recommend staying here if this is in an area you need to be in. It was clean, spacious and made the trip easy.

  Amazing stay with beautiful views.

  Les plus: Rooftop pool was such a highlight of the trip and a short walk to china town and so much amazing food. Close to the train station and lovely rooms and balconies.

  Les moins: We couldn't connect to the WiFi but with a 24/7 reception someone would have been happy to help but there's plenty of channels anyhow!

  This would have been excellent value if the bedding had been more comfortable and suitable.

  Les plus: The room was larger than expected, clean and well presented. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Although we did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant or buffet breakfast, the restaurant smelt inviting. We were also informed about the gym and pool facilities.

  Les moins: The in-room amenities were minimal. Basic toiletries, slippers and a coffee machine were provided, but there was no toaster, minibar, spare pillows or extra blankets. The biggest disappointment was the bedding. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the pillows were high, hard and lumpy. There was no doona or warm blanket, only layered sheets. Although we had the heating on, we kept it low because the fan bothered us and we are not accustomed to sleeping with heating that dries out the air. Without adequate bedding, my daughter was freezing throughout the night. Extra blankets may have been available through reception, but guests should not have to call and wait for someone to enter their room when they are trying to sleep. At least one spare blanket per bed should be provided in the room.

  The Burwood area is a great area to stay

  Les plus: Very nice place, the Burwood area is absolutely beautiful

  Les moins: Central with Burwood train station only a couple hundred metres away. The motel has cinemas, Westfields, restaurants, cafes, Pubs and clubs all just a moments walk away.

  Very disappointing

  Les moins: There was a party on the roof during our stay making it impossible to sleep with music vibrating through our room. Was an awful experience staying here because of this, we weren’t notified there would be a disturbance. We definitely would’ve cancelled our booking had we known. Very disappointing.

  Adventurous but comfy!

  Les plus: Excellent location near one of the China tows. Ample choice of restaurants!

  Les moins: We could not switch off the curtain lights in the room because of a malfunctioning of the electrical system and had to call in services late night. Next day we had to move rooms, but we got an upgrade to compensate. Overall, the staff tried very hard to solve the problems!

  Les plus: The staff were really lovely and accommodating. The room was spotless and it was quite large too. It was located in a great spot, so close to the train station and heaps of great restaurants. I had the buffet breakfast and it was very good.

  Les plus: I liked the staff everyone was happy and attentive and actually served purpose which was refreshing. Lovely people

  Les moins: The tv didn’t work and I made sure I booked one with a smart tv. Didn’t go past a blank screen no matter how much I tried. The balcony also happened to have somebodies cigarettes which I disposed of in case they tried to pin the blame on me. I don’t even smoke. Also, only one bathrobe was present in the bedroom. We needed for two people which Crowne plaza were aware of. There was no microwave either.

  Great if you need to stay central to Burwood. Westfield’s and the train station are a few 100 metres away!
