  Great as a base, great location, clean rooms, comfy beds and linens !

  Liked: The staff had let a handwritten HBday card for my son and a 20$ breakfast gift card. Free Wifi, friendly staff !

  Disliked: Room on the 6th had a brick wall view, felt like living in basement.. would have preferred a room on top floors. TV didn’t work

  Liked: Posizione molto buona. Staff gentile e contatto sempre a disposizione per ogni necessità. Pub interno molto carino con maxi schermi per eventi sportivi e tavolo da biliardo. Acqua e caffè sempre disponibili.

  Disliked: La stanza è estremante piccola, al limite della decenza. In due è davvero difficile muoversi e organizzare le proprie cose. Privacy per il bagno inesistente, con porta scorrevole di vetro

  Liked: Thank you Pod 39 .... the room was super clean and the staff were outstanding... so Polite, courteous and respectful...as i travelled from the Middle east i had forgotten to carry the US type plugs to charge my mobiles. and when i asked the for one the staff at the reception was not at all hesitant to give me one....the room was cleaned and arranged daily while towels were replaced too... We enjoyed the stay at Pod 39 very much..

  Fabulous hotel, staff and location

  Liked: The location was perfect for us, the road it was on was quiet, we had a bunk pod and we only slept & showered there. Although compact, there was enough room for the 2 of us. Shower was lovely, house keeping was every day, fresh fluffy towels and very clean. We loved the floor 17 views of the city & had a simple bagel and coffee breakfast each morning for $3 and the beverages were free. Staff were friendly and I’d go back in the future for the ease and location. The cleaning staff were so friendly and we loved the communal area.

  Disliked: It could be a little noisy with people slamming doors & close proximity of rooms.

  Liked: Nel complesso è una buona struttura, camere piccole, davvero piccole.. ma rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo, posizione buona. Ottimo il servizio di colazione a prezzi onesti per essere in centro a New York. Anche il distributore di acqua è top.

  Disliked: Il rooftop è praticamente inutile, personale poco gentile, e prevalentemente gente esterna all'hotel. Ci andrete poche volte! stanze troppo piccole, aprire due valigie è possibile solo con piccoli trolley.

  Liked: Tivemos uma ótima experiência no Pod 39. Tudo estava sempre muito limpo, a cama era confortável e todos os funcionários foram muito atenciosos e prestativos. Apesar de o café da manhã não estar incluído na diária, todas as manhãs havia café e chá disponíveis gratuitamente no restaurante do hotel, o que foi muito agradável. A localização também é excelente, a poucos minutos de caminhada da Grand Central Station, facilitando bastante os deslocamentos pela cidade. Além disso, nos permitiram fazer o check-in antes do horário previsto e guardaram nossas malas após o check-out, para que pudéssemos aproveitar nosso último dia com tranquilidade. Gostamos muito da estadia e com certeza voltaríamos a nos hospedar lá.

  Liked: Sauberes Zimmer, super Dusche, jeden Tag frische Handtücher. Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer war sehr gut isoliert und trotz Lage direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl sehr ruhig. Lage des Hotels super zentral!

  Liked: Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Circa 5 Minuten zu 5th Avenue.

  Disliked: Direkt an der Unterkunft hat mir jetzt nichts nicht gefallen aber grundsätzlich sind die Hotelpreise sehr hoch. Das gilt aber für alle Hotels, die zentral gelegen sind beziehungsweise sich in Manhattan befinden.

  Liked: Pokoje malutkie, jak mówi sama nazwa ,,pod,, nie spodziewajcie się przestrzeni, to serio pokój z łóżkiem, małym biurkiem i łazienką. Jeśli przyjeżdżasz zwiedzać i 90% czasu spędzać poza hotelem, to jest to super opcja. Blisko do Grand Central skąd można dotrzeć dosłownie wszędzie, pokój czysty, codziennie świeże ręczniki, sprzątane również codziennie więc zero zarzutów. Troche słychać hałas na ulicy w nocy ale pamiętajmy, że w Nowym Jorku cały czas coś się dzieje. Obsługa bardzo miła, także polecam! :)

  Liked: El hotel está en una zona en la que puedes llegar caminado a varios lugares, grand central está a 3 cuadras, y otros puntos turísticos de 15 a 30 min caminado.

  Disliked: El personal no es muy amable a excepción de las chicas del aseo y una persona en recepción que fue muy linda pero todos los demás de pocas palabras y poco empáticos.

  Disliked: Les portes en inox des chambres devraient vraiment être nettoyées, elles sont pleines de traces un peu dégueu .. la capsule complète est petite donc pas pratique pour ouvrir sa valise, mais bon, je voyageais seule donc ça m’a convenu, à deux c’est un peu juste je pense.

  Gutes Hotel für den Manhattan-Aufenthalt

  Liked: Nahe der Grand Central Station gelegenes Hotel, internationales Publikum, Restaurant und Bar anbei (bei guten Wetter eine weitere Bar auf dem Dach, schöner Blick auf Midtown Manhattan). Zimmer typisch klein für New Yorker Verhältnisse, aber sauber und ausreichend. Frühstücksmöglichkeit in der Bar. Für Manhattan gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

  Disliked: Ein außen angebrachter Klimakompressor verursachte in regelmäßigen Abstand (auch nachts) stakre Geräusche und Vibrationen, schlecht für Perosnen mit sanftem Schlaf.

  Disliked: Les chambres avec lits superposés sont vraiment petites mais c’est le principe. Les portes vitrées pour la salle de bain et les toilettes

  空調の振動音の心配さえなければ、ロケーションもよくスタッフの皆さんも親切で、とてもよい宿泊先と思います。とくに深夜にも関わらず相談に対応下さった、フロント担当の方には感謝です。

  Liked: Grand Central駅に近いので、ダウンタウンやブルックリンにも行きやすく、またTimes Squareやロックフェラーセンター、BroadwayのGerschwin劇場も徒歩圏内と、非常にアクセス性がいいです。 またフロントだけでなくクリーニングのスタッフの方も皆親身に対応くださったので、安心して宿泊することができました。 部屋の金属製の扉や、金属ラックには、一部で錆のようなものがあったものの、部屋の水回りはとても清潔で、ここに不快感は全くありませんでした。

  Disliked: 多くの部屋の空調（HVAC）から、低く大きな振動音が聞こえてきたこと。耳というより体全体に響くため耳栓では防げず、むしろ耳栓をすると他の音で誤魔化せなくなるので逆効果です。 最終的にフロントのスタッフの方のおかげでこの問題は回避できましたが、多くの部屋で解消されない限り、私は次回泊まることはないでしょう。 但しこの振動音については、体質によるところが大きいと思います。私はやや敏感な方ですが、全く気にならない方にとっては、とても良い宿泊先になるでしょう。

  Liked: Ich war schon mehrfach im POD39 und fühle mich dort sehr wohl.

  Disliked: Die Dusche... Diese fest montierten Duschköpfe in der Decke sind unpraktisch, wenn man sich nur kurz abduschen will. Außerdem verbraucht man durch diese "single handle" Wasserregler viel zu viel Wasser. Das finde ich wirklich nervig. Außerdem ist es immer Glückssache, ob man ein Zimmer mit lauten oder weniger lauten Vibrationen der Klimaanlagen bekommt.

  Liked: Kawa i herbata za darmo z rana , oraz proste przekąski ale na duży plus jogurt z owocami Bardzo Polecamy. Obsługa codziennie sprząta pokoje i wymienia pościel oraz ręczniki. Bardzo fajne i przyjemne miejsce. Na plus ładna łazienka, Klima działa Generalnie POLECAM to miejsce

  Disliked: Na minus tylko brak jakieś szafy w pokoju na ubrania .trzeba zamykać łazienkę po czuć z kanalizacji. Widok z okna ale co zrobić.

  Buena ubicación y cómodo

  Liked: Me gustó la ubicación y que era cómodo, a pesar de los espacios reducidos que tienen en general los alojamientos en Nueva York. El staff era muy amable y pude dejar mis maletas después del check out para aprovechar las últimas horas en la ciudad.

  Disliked: Creo que la limpieza, si bien entraban a limpiar, se notaba que el piso de la pieza de las partes menos usadas la dejaban igual.

  Liked: Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer war sehr angenehm und ruhig, man hat nicht von außerhalb mitbekommen. Das Hotel ist keine 5 Gehminuten von der Grand Central entfernt. Wir kommen Dezember 27 wieder.

  Liked: Un superbe établissement, je vous le recommande à 100%. Le ménage a été fait tout les jours, le personnel est très agréable et accueillant, si nous avons la moindre question ils sont toujours là pour nous répondre. La location est juste parfaite, en plein milieu de New york, avec des lignes de métro tout près. Je reviendrai c’est sur et certain.

  Compact, Clean, Convenient Location.

  Liked: For a tiny bunk, the bed and bedding were very comfortable & I slept well! The bathroom was larger than expected in such a tiny room and showering was a pleasure. The sports bar used for breakfast was roomy & the free coffee tasted good.

  Disliked: Room was too tight to unwind in for 2 people. We each had to go up separately to shower. There was nowhere to put your things or sit besides your bed. This set-up better for 1.

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay in New York! The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. Whenever we had an issue or needed anything, they acted quickly and efficiently. A special thank you to Nathan for being so helpful! 😊 As for the rooms, the queen room was a great choice, and the cleanliness was absolutely outstanding. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and fresh towels were provided regularly. The complimentary tea and coffee in the mornings were also a lifesaver and such a nice touch! While the rooms can be on the smaller side, our queen room was perfectly comfortable. The bunk bed room was a little tight, but overall, this wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. The location is another big plus: central, quiet, and in a safe area, making it a great base for exploring New York. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily choose this place again and hope to be back soon! 💛

  Even as a solo traveller I wouldn’t recommend for the price.

  Disliked: The bed was literally a rock to sleep on, the was no blanket just a sheet, the air condition sounded like I was sleeping next to fighter jet about to take off, the room was so small I felt claustrophobic the entire time, there was no natural light, the rest hotel was freezing all the time, you could hear people coming in and out of the rooms the entire time so it would wake me up at all hours

  Una nueva estancia en Manhattan para recordar

  Liked: La ubicación está bastante bien aunque en nuestra otra estancia estuvimos en el de Times Square y lo percibo "más conveniente". El café, té, leche y agua de cortesía todas las mañanas sin duda nos alegraba el día. Nos arreglaron la habitación cada día y se agradece llegar con la cama hecha. La habitación bastante silenciosa para haber tantas juntas.

  Disliked: El colchón de mi litera de abajo estaba bastante usado y se hundía muchísimo. La escalera para subir a la cama de arriba parece puesta para hacer penitencia! Algo más cómodo para los pies, por favor. El agua sale templada tirando a fresca y no se puede regular. Sabía que la habitación era cápsula pero es demasiado pequeña y no se puede ventilar.

  Disliked: Las habitaciones son demasiado chicas y el espacio no está bien optimizado. La puerta del baño no cerraba del todo bien y no había mucha privacidad. Muy poca luz natural y la vista no era buena, daba a una pared interna.
