  For the price, which was the highest of all the other hotels we took on this trip, it was very disappointing!

  Понравилось: The location, for our purposes!

  Не понравилось: There was black mold in the soap tray in the bathroom, This was reported to the manager! For which he gave us two Continental breakfast vouchers, because :”since it is already paid for I can not do anything else”! In addition there were other minor details, which we would not expect at a hotel of this status!

  Понравилось: Location is excellent, super well connected to the airport by train. Easy walking to many landmarks and quality locations. Rooms where clean and bed was comfortable.

  Loved my stay at the New Yorker!

  Best hotel in the neighborhood, hands down. The best option in the area, by far.

  Понравилось: I generally prefer quieter neighborhoods, but the hotel’s location is excellent — it’s close to all the subway lines, which made getting around the city very easy. The room was comfortable and the view of Madison Square Garden is wonderful. The bathroom is a bit small, but the towels are great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and there are two good restaurants on site. I’m a returning guest.

  Не понравилось: Honestly, nothing comes to mind. The hotel is great and I don’t see much room for improvement.

  A great experience!

  Понравилось: Convenient location. Great staff. So much history, wish they offered a tour. It’s an iconic New York landmark, wish they would promote it more and if you stay be sure to go downstairs and see just a small portion of the history. They should allow guests the ability to view the Grand Ballroom.

  We vonden de stad natuurlijk erg interessant.

  Не понравилось: Het hotel voldeed niet aan de verwachtingen van een vier sterren hotel. Drie sterren zou mee op zijn plaats zjin. We boektebn een hotel met twee (grote) twee persoonsbedden, we troffen twee kleine bedden aan, wat groter in formaat dan een een persoons bed. De badkamer was sober ingericht met een bad/douceh en een kleine wastafel. Minder van belang maar geen badjassen of slippers hetgeen normaal gesproken verwacht mag worden in een vier sterren accomodatie.

  Très bon rapport qualité prix pour un séjour d’une semaine

  Понравилось: L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche de Times Square et autres endroits animés du centre de Manhattan . La station de métro Penn st est à moins de 5 min à pied . La literie est très confortable

  Не понравилось: Le nettoyage quotidien est sommaire. Le départ est à 11h et il faut payer 5$ par bagage si on les laisse en consigne

  Не понравилось: Devoir payer 10$ par bagage pour pouvoir les laisser à la conciergerie La chambre mérite une rénovation mais en gardant l'âme La vitre de la fenêtre était très abimée (verre opaque par endroit), dommage car la vue est belle depuis les étages élevés de l’hotel. La climatisation du lobby est réglée sur très froid : c’est trop !

  The Hotel New Yorker seems to have become my place to stay since the Hotel Pennsylvania closed.

  Понравилось: Location is good. Many good places to eat inexpensively are nearby. I'll have to try the Tick Tock Diner again sometime. Friendly staff members Business room in the lower lobby is easily accessible. The printer worked! I was welcomed to check in earlier than I expected on the day of my arrival. Interesting displays about the hotel's history and about long-ago resident Nicola Tesla Unusual and interesting hotel floor plan and layout

  Gran hotel, con cosas a mejorar

  Понравилось: La ubicacion es perfecta, cerca de todo pero a cierta Distancia del Caos de Times Square. La vista de la habitacion en el piso 37 maravillosa. El personal del hotel muy amable.

  Не понравилось: Lo que no me gusto es que a los pasillos y halls de los pisos superiores estan un poco anticuados y las paredes algo sucias u oscuras. Hice una reserva para 4 personas con desayuno incluido y cuando llegue solo incluia el desayuno para 2 personas por politica del Hotel.

  We love the New Yorker!

  Понравилось: View was spectacular. Bed was comfortable and shower was great and had lots of hot water.

  Не понравилось: The room was very small, so small we had to move the chair over near the door to freely access the left side of the bed.

  Absolut empfehlenswert für einen New York Trip

  Понравилось: Die Lage des Hotels ist wirkich exzellent, alles sehr schnell erreichbar und liegt somit sehr zentral. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen professionell und hilfsbereit und unglaublich höflich, welches den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Nachdem wir schon gegen 9.30 angekommen sind und erst nachmittags der check-in ist und dies natürlich gegen einen Aufpreis vergeben wird, wurde uns ein Angebot gemacht, eine grosse Suite zu nehmen mit einem Aufpreis von 50 U$ pro Tag. Das war recht angenehm und waren mit dieser Wahl recht zufrieden. Ein Late-check-out wird mit 100U$ berechnet, da unser Flug um Mitternacht erst ging. Rundum, wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und waren sehr zufrieden.

  Понравилось: la ubicacion es genial. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, y el hotel tiene una muy buena categoría.

  Не понравилось: Precio un poco elevado, pero al estar en una excelente ubicacion no esta mal.

  Понравилось: Great location, right across from MSG and walkable to Times Square, close to many train lines as well. The room was slightly outdated, but we didn't hang in the rooms during the day, so a non-issue. Our room even had a balcony which we did not expect!

  Не понравилось: Make sure you read the fine print on the breakfast. We booked our room for 6 people but only allowed vouchers for 2 people. Also the vouchers do not get you much, either a $5 discount at the Tick Tock diner OR a coffee/juice and a pastry.

  Très très bon emplacement.

  Понравилось: Métro à 2 minutes, vu de la chambre sur l'Empire State Building (option vue prise dans la réservation de la chambre), 20 min a pied de Times Square, ménage bien, personnel gentil.

  Не понравилось: Manque cafetière, bouilloire et mini frigo. Prévoir bouche oreille car rue très bruyante (ce qui n'a pas dérangé mes enfants).

  Top Lage. Insgesamt sehr gut

  Понравилось: Für NYC verhältnismäßig große Zimmer. Super Lage direkt an der Penn Station. Man kommt zu Fuß gut zu einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Edge, Times Sq., Empire) und ansonsten mit der Subway überall gut hin.

  Не понравилось: Kein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Sehr kleine betten. Wir hatten zu viert ein Zimmer mit 2 Queensize-Betten.

  This property needs major updates and renovations to make it worth the price.

  Понравилось: We reserved this room because it was a very short walk to Madison Square Garden so the location was ideal.

  Не понравилось: Aside from being quite cramped (which I know a lot of NYC hotel rooms are), the entire hotel seemed rather dated and dingy. The carpet felt slightly damp the day we arrived, the bathroom didn’t have any shelf or counter to hold toiletries, and the shower dripped even when turned off. Tons of street noise and the walls must be paper thin because we could hear a lot of noise from adjacent rooms.

  Decent, would probably look to stay elsewhere if back in NYc

  Понравилось: Location. Security in the lobby 24/7

  Не понравилось: Needs updates in terms of plumbing. Major chips and other deep cosmetic issues. Beds were incredibly small and stains were common to find on the sheets. Charged for a couple of services that should be complementary with the stay (holding bags, check in times, etc)

  I would not recommend.

  Понравилось: The hotel has a magnificent location in the centre of New York Midtown, and everything is nearby ( attractions, markets, restaurants, metro stations…etc ), but it’s a slightly expensive hotel!

  Tje Great Gatsby vibe and super location

  Понравилось: charming atmosphere in an excellent location: the design of the hotel throws you back to the glorious pre-WWII aesthetics, while conveniantely located next to the Penn Station (fast transfer from JFK via LIRR, subway, Empire state building, Hudson Yards and few blocks away from Times Square. The rooms are small, they don't have a coffee machine, the standard view is to a wall in front etc, but hey! you only sleep here. and sleeping was good.

  Не понравилось: The breakfast down at TicToc diner is not worth it. save few dollars and use it to get a normal breakfast in one of the places around.

  Понравилось: Excellent location! The hotel is a bit older, but the beds are super comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Afroza and the front desk team, as well as the housekeeper responsible for our section (Room 2349). They all went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. Being in Midtown means that almost everything is within walking distance. Plus, having the 24-hour Tick Tock Diner right in the hotel makes the stay even more convenient. Not only is it so easy to access, but the food is delicious and the portions are generous. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

  An October Visit

  Понравилось: I appreciated the 24/7 Tik Tok Diner access and available seating in the lobby while waiting on friends and/or family as well as getting out of the room so it could be refreshed. I enjoyed an afternoon cocktail at the hotel bar and the bartender made my beverage choice perfectly.

  Не понравилось: Room 782 is tired with a peeling finish on the bathroom door and carpeting that looks as though it could be shampooed or replaced. The bed pillows are horrible, lumpy and stiff, terrible if you have an arthritic neck.

  If you want to stay and experience New York in old New York fashion, this is the pace to stay.

  Понравилось: The staff was phenomenal. Mohammed was at the check in area and he was polite, friendly, and provided exceptional service. The location was excellent

  Не понравилось: The outdated fixtures. The noise and air from the bathroom window. The small beds.
