  Perfect location, very quiet, good value

  Понравилось: Very happy with my decision to spend a night at ibis Styles Sydney Central after visiting regional New South Wales and before catching a flight from Sydney airport the next day. The hotel is only a short walk from Museum train station with a direct train line to the airport. Perfect location! Check-out time is 11am – unlike hotels closer to the airport, where check-out time is 10am. This gave me plenty of time to have breakfast and get ready. The buffet breakfast was good but with less variety compared to other ibis hotels I have stayed at. My room was very quiet and the bed comfortable – great for a good night’s sleep. And there was good storage space, good lighting and sensibly placed power points. Shortly after my booking I received useful messages from the hotel, including very detailed information on how to get to the hotel.

  Не понравилось: My room had a small round table and two low armchairs, which made it difficult to do computer work. I would have preferred a proper writing surface with a chair of matching height.

  Worked for our needs, and had three beds close to Central.

  Понравилось: Good location to Central, rooms were exactly what was needed for our stay

  Не понравилось: Our room had a really bad smell in it when we first arrived, it seemed a little better after the AC had been on for a while but not ideal.

  Не понравилось: I stayed 5days and No housekeeping available and cleanliness is not maintained…parking is not available and location between nearby parking and hotel is not close by… they mentioned parking rate is $40 per 24hour single entry but its i paid $65 each day even 24hour didn’t exceed with single entry very horrible and disappointing

  OK but with a little work could be much better

  Понравилось: Location was ok. Hotel and room was clean. Front of house team were very welcoming and helpful.

  Не понравилось: The breakfast was poor. Staff took room number but made no attempt to explain how breakfast was organised. Wide choice of food but poorly organised. Tea and coffee poor. Plates cleared away whilst we were still using them.

  8 days of rain but a comfortable apartment

  Понравилось: large comfortable apartment well located with great outlook. Situated near to light rail, cafes and beach. Never had to wait long for lifts and on site secure parking was great. Excellent heed pool but we hit 8 days of rain so didn't use it much.

  Не понравилось: The noise from the Country Music festival. Would be great if there was a coffee maker and a couple of small packets of laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent seemed a bit mean for an 8 day stay given the price of the apartment.

  Comfortable, friendly, brilliant location.

  Понравилось: The location is brilliant. So close to wonderful food! Chin Chin, Harry's and The Paramount - all fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were modest but comfortable.

  Не понравилось: The only thing that was a bit annoying was the loud air conditioning we couldn't turn off.

  A good location for a quick night away.

  Понравилось: Good location. Attached restaurant was excellent.

  Не понравилось: I did find some rubbish in the room, so it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Additionally the water pressure was not great.

  Pleasant motel, but unsuitable position for a mobility challenged senior

  Не понравилось: When I booked I didn’t realise that the motel, even though only a short walk from Central Station, was UPHILL … too steep to safely use a walker while pushing a suitcase.

  relaxing

  Понравилось: location is near to asian restaurants and world square is just few blocks away. you can jog early to hyde park to st.mary's cathedral and walk around to chinatown, the room AC works well .

  Не понравилось: the do it yourself check in since it charged us more than the published rate and after tapping our card it says approved but it did not work (it did not release a key card)so we have to go to the check in counter and entered again our booking. our bank says it has two transactions and we paid twice so we have to re check again with the hotel staff and they showed us that the first transaction was void but we have to wait for a feedback from our bank when we get back home.

  Cheerful stay in great location.

  Понравилось: The cheery decor was good, the location was brilliant for us and what we were doing/seeing. Didn’t get to try the food or bar but looked nice.

  Не понравилось: The cups and crockery were dirty, around the shower was dirty, and no bottled drinking water which seems like such a simple thing and can make so much difference to comfort while staying in a hotel.

  Adequate for a short stay

  Понравилось: Like most Sydney CBD hotels, it was close to public transport which makes it easy to get around. Museum station is close by. China Town light rail station is within walking distance. Room service from the Mee So restaurant was quick and my order was delivered to my room. Other places deliver to reception and call it room service.

  Не понравилось: The push to use self check-in and check-out. It’s so impersonal and is not my idea of a welcome or customer service. There was no microwave in my room so meal options were limited. You have no choice but to buy your meals. There was no hotel guide in the room. I turned the TV on and a screen came up saying if you want more information about the hotel or the menu for the Mee So restaurant, to scan the QR code. There was no information about the hotel at all - only a menu to order from Mee So. I found it hard to control the air conditioner to get my room comfortable. The fan on the air conditioning unit was especially loud.

  Great value for a short stay in Sydney. I recommend this hotel

  Понравилось: The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I also liked the location which was close to the center of Sydney. We also received an early check in at 12 noon which was very appreciated.

  Не понравилось: Then restaurant food was tasty, but the service was not very friendly. I also was provided some food discount coupons, but they were not easy to use so I didn't use them

  Great stay, will be back!

  Понравилось: I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the service that the front desk provided. The location of the hotel was great, and it was very easy to access via train.

  Не понравилось: The only thing that was disappointing was the shorter hours for room service (from memory it closed at 9pm) - if there was later room service, and even a breakfast option that would have been perfect.

  Понравилось: Location, comfortable, clean, services like restaurant/bar available, snacks & drinks at reception. Staff were great, very helpful.

  Не понравилось: Air conditioning in our room didn't work very well - we had it on the lowest cool setting and wasn't really blowing cold air (hallway outside significantly cooler). No internet to the TV.We were unable to connect to streaming services or cast from out phones to the TV (despite the TV having the capacity)

  This was disappointing end to pleasant weekend

  Не понравилось: When inquiring about car parking we were given incorrect information. We were told we leave the car in car park over weekend to find out when checkout that we needed to move the car to get reduced rate 15 dollars a day instead we had pay 80 . The receptionist did try and reduce the rate to 60 dollars . We spoke to two staff one on phone and one checking in no one said we had to drive the car out of the car park and return to get reduced rate ! Maybe staff could have printout with clear information to pass onto customer

  Понравилось: Ubytování splnilo moje očekávání. Hotel je v docházkové vzdálenosti vlakového nádraží i centru města. Kousek od hotelu je hezký park. Okolí nepůsobilo nebezpečně. Snídaně skvělá, jen někdy monotonní a kafe by mohlo být lepší. Obsluha u snídaně i na recepci velmi příjemná. Výhodou je self check-in a check-out, ale pokud si potřebujete odložit kufr, stejně budete muset vystát řadu.

  Great location is the only thing going for them. Bad customer services and bad management. Won’t stay here again!!

  Понравилось: The location was great, it was close walking distance to the museum train station. Also very close to shopping and places to eat.

  Не понравилось: The staff need to work on customer services. The first receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all. I had two different bookings, she said she could not find my second booking. She did not want to look for it or help me. It wasn’t until another receptionist helped me and found my second booking within 2 minutes. While staying there the housekeeper cleared out my room, all my things were gone. When I asked my it was cleared out they could not tell me why. I was frustrated it took over half an hour for my things to be found and brought back to me. They had thrown everything in the fridge into the bin. If I hadnt had pushed for it to be replaced it would not have.

  Enjoyed the central location of the hotel.

  Понравилось: Breakfast was good although it would have been nice to have more choices of fresh fruit (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc). Liked the ability to cast own devices to the TV screen.

  Не понравилось: Felt the bar/restaurant could have had longer opening hours as we didn't actually get the opportunity to use it due to it being closed by the time we got back from our days out sightseeing, etc.
