Cosa è piaciuto: Location and interior style

Cosa non è piaciuto: Late check-in came at a surprisingly high cost, while leaving at 4 am last year brought no discount. I wasn’t expecting one, but this contrast gives the impression that every opportunity is used to charge more. Sadly, customers increasingly feel like wallets rather than people.

Nice!

Cosa è piaciuto: Good location in a nice part of town. Good room size. Friendly staff. Stylish. Room had everything we needed.

Cosa non è piaciuto: We didn't know the pool would be closed which might have changed our choice of hotel as we would have preferred somewhere with a pool. Since previous stays there are some signs of wear, such as the seals in the bathroom being grubby etc.

Excellent location and clean

Cosa è piaciuto: Clean, new, stuff, location.

Cosa non è piaciuto: Nothing

Cosa è piaciuto: Nice room, comfortable bed. Good location.

Cosa non è piaciuto: No kettle or tea available. I had to ask. Pillows rather flimsy. Asked for room to be serviced. Had new towels and bed made, but the room wasn't vacuumed even though it was visible to see it needed it.

Cosa è piaciuto: The location was OK, and I had a taxi rank nearby. Modern hotel.

Cosa non è piaciuto: Pillows were rather flimsy. Didn't have a kettle or tea facilities, had to ask. Although we asked for the room to be cleaned, it was not hoovered

Cosa è piaciuto: Anything

Cosa non è piaciuto: Strange smell in the hotel. Bathroom layout not practical ( no privacy)

Modern and beautiful

Cosa è piaciuto: Location is a nice, less touristy area with plenty of cool restaurants and cafes. Only 12 minutes by foot to the beach (reasonably clean and beautiful) The design and furniture of the hotel in general and of the room is beautiful - very modern and cozy (except for the shower - see below) Many places to have breakfast around

Cosa non è piaciuto: I'm not a big fan of the modern room concept where the shower has no door (seprated from the main room only by intransparent glass walls), but even less comfortable is the glass-wall toilet (though it does have a door, but it is rather symbolic and does not provide any privacy). No problem if you travel alone, but if you have companions - this was not very comfortable. If you prefer to open the windows in the night, car noise in might be disturbing. Of course you can always switch on A/C (however in my room even on the lowest fan setting it was blowing pretty strong)

We loved our stay at the Paxton Hotel.. we had such a nice time and it is just a short taxi ride to almost anywhere you

Cosa è piaciuto: Beautiful hotel and was great value for money.

Cosa non è piaciuto: I didn’t read the full listing.. unfortunately the pool is only open summer months of the year so I missed out on swimming. Shame the pool isnt open year round.

Cosa è piaciuto: The reception, bar and restaurant staff was ok. Bed was confortable

Cosa non è piaciuto: Floor was floppy, old wood. Every morning i was hearing the vaccum from upstair. Pillows kinda bad. No room shoes and bathrobe, i had the ask for them (and were pretty used/old) The cleaning was bad, room had no tissues and the cleaning team couldnt refill it even when i put the box out on the table, empty. Glasses and bottle was also kinda invisible for them to take out the trash. Also, the temp control media is old as cold war, it takes years to use it, you have to be very precise where to put finger and press hard to get a command.

Cosa è piaciuto: We always love the stylish and modern touch. Also the location.

Cosa non è piaciuto: This time, the room. Room under the stairs, making it smaller and less comfortable. We asked for a change, especially after becoming regulars (4th time), but couldn't get it.

Punteggio ospiti 8Hannah Roisin

Good location and smart hotel but rooms not suitable for anyone but couples as bathroom open plan

Cosa è piaciuto: Great location. Nice room and comfy bed.

Cosa non è piaciuto: There was no door on the shower, the glass panel between the shower and the room was ‘frosted’ but basically see through and the way the room was configured meant if someone opened the door while you were in the shower, the whole corridor would be able to see you!

Value for money

Cosa è piaciuto: Stuff was very friendly, the hotel and room were modern and clean. We loved the lemon water at the front desk. Our little girl got a little present at the check-in.

Cosa non è piaciuto: Homeless people behind the hotel. We heard every steps from the other rooms. The food what we ordered to the room tasted terrible (especially the pizza).

Modernes Hotel in guter Lage

Cosa è piaciuto: Great location, many Bars and Restaurants in walking distance, metro only a few minutes away, clean and modern rooms

Cosa non è piaciuto: As many said before, the walls are thin, so if you are in bad luck and have noisy neighbors, it could get loud.

Punteggio ospiti 7Thales

So fresh and so clean

Cosa è piaciuto: Cleanliness and staff

Cosa non è piaciuto: The swimming pool closed the day we arrived.we chose the hotel based on the pool. We specifically checked the swimming pool box in your filter . We do not blame the hotel. The blame lies entirely at booking.com

Cosa non è piaciuto:
